Working with Porchlight Music Publishing gave me the opportunity to create a digital presence for a Nashville music publisher whose work lives behind some very recognizable songs and artists. The goal was to design and develop a website that felt established and professional while still reflecting the energy, personality and creative culture of the music industry.

The site was built to put the music and the people behind it at the forefront. I developed a visual structure that allowed Porchlight to showcase its creators, catalog writers, artist releases and publishing successes while giving visitors an easy way to explore the company and the talent it represents.

Because the content ranged from songwriter profiles and discography information to new releases and chart successes, the design needed to accommodate a substantial amount of information without feeling cluttered. Strong imagery, bold typography and the existing black-and-gold identity created a consistent framework throughout the site while allowing individual artists, albums and accomplishments to remain the focus.

The finished website gave Porchlight Music Publishing a cohesive digital platform for presenting its roster, catalog and achievements while providing the flexibility to continually feature new music and celebrate the writers and artists behind it.
